We understand that you cannot always bring your pet along when you travel. Rest assured that at Pete & Mac's your pet is receiving first class care and lodging. Our team is highly qualified and trained. Rather than hiring 'night managers', at Pete & Mac's each location features an on site, live-in manager to ensure your pet is cared for 24 hours a day. Video surveillance monitors are active throughout the resort and state-of-the-art security systems ensure safety. All of our policies and procedures, including vaccination requirements, are constantly reviewed by our Veterinarian Advisory Board in order to continuously provide the best care available.

Dogs
Each guest is cared for in one of our private, spacious all-indoor suites. Each suite is light enhanced with glass block construction and features an open, airy 16 foot ceiling with natural skylight illumination. Our unique glass block construction provides a safer, brighter, more comfortable environment than traditional boarding kennels. Year round climate control ensures comfort, with radiant heated floors in winter and air conditioning in summer. Elevated beds keep pets dry and comfortable and superior sanitation systems far exceed current health requirements while virtually eliminating odor.

Ample outdoor exercise space and optional daycare play services are available. This social time engages your dog in supervised daily activities, burns off energy and releases stress, promotes socialization and makes any stay more enjoyable. Each afternoon, our guests receive a toy and treat at no extra charge. Complimentary departure baths are provided for dogs staying 5 nights or longer. All in all.it's the finest care possible!

Cats are cared for in an exceptional cattery designed just for them. The special 'birds eye' window overlooks our outdoor aviary. Air handling, cooling and heating systems provide a comfortable environment year round. A special cat mat with individual ceramic bowls provides fresh, refreshing water at all times. Cats are supervised by our professional staff with plenty of personal attention. We'll even offer a lap to sit on if he or she chooses (in our rocker).
